Today in class we went over our density labs from Friday. Study guides were handed out for preparation for Friday’s test. Fourth and fifth period classes will test on Monday due to a guest speaker on Friday.
Homework for tonight is to finish the workbook pages from 96-97 and numbers 8-11 on page 187 [...]

Students began discussing the differences between elements and compounds and the different types of mixtures and some characteristics of each. There is no homework tonight. There will be a lab safety quiz on Thursday.
