Students began reviewing for the test over Chp 17. The test will be Friday. Study guides have been given out. There will be a quiz between now and Friday.

Students started Chp 9 Sec 1 on elements today. Classwork consisted of reading sec 1, answering the questions in your book and on page 119-120 of your workbook. Test over Chp 9 will be on Friday.

Began Chp 16 today. Students read Section 1 about atoms and answered section review questions. We will finish discussion of section 1 tomorrow.

Test tomorrow over Chp 8. Review questions from 226-227 due tomorrow.
Bring in any fundraising materials tomorrow. It is the LAST DAY for this.

Today students took a quiz over Chp 16 and began reviewing. Review questions from page 500-501 are due tomorrow.

Completed discussing condensation and sublimation today. Quiz tomorrow and test on Friday. Read section 2 and complete the section review questions for homework.

We discussed Archimede’s and Pascal’s Principle today. Test over Chp 16 is Friday.

Discussed liquid and gas phases. Discussed how hydraulics work and collected data during phase changes of water. Bring flashdrives tomorrow to finish podcasts. HW: read section 3 of chp 8 and answer 1-10 on page 223.

Took notes over states of matter today. Collected data on temperature change during phase changes of water. Tomorrow we conclude podcasts so bring flashdrives.

Students did the following word problems, 1-3 page 468, 168-169 page 841. We started Ch 15 about Matter today with students reading section 1 and defining the words in the glossary of their composition books.
